How to use Auto Subtitles
What does it do?
Turns the speech in a video or audio file into accurately timed, easy-to-read captions — in the video’s own language or translated into 20 languages — with your own font, colours and position, ready as a captioned video or as SRT, VTT and ASS files.
What you need
A video or audio file up to 100 MB and 60 minutes, and SARA credits (1 per minute, plus 1 per minute when translating into another language).
Steps
- Upload the video or audio file.
- Pick the target language: the video’s own language, Standard Arabic (Fusha) to turn Arabic dialects into their standard meaning, or any of 20 languages.
- Press “Create subtitles” and wait for the transcription.
- Review and edit the lines, pick a caption style, then download the captioned video or an SRT, VTT or ASS file.
What you get
A ready-to-post video with styled on-screen captions, or a synced subtitle file for YouTube, TikTok and editing apps.
Tips for better results
- Clear speech without loud music gives the most accurate timing.
- The spoken language is detected automatically — pick another language to reach a new audience.
